Funeral Conducted For Mrs. Hedspeth Last Sat.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dolly Hedspath, 56, were held last Saturday at the New Salem Baptist
Church. The Revs. A. L. Shaw and L Nicholes officiated. Burial was in Double Butte Cemetery.
Mrs. Hedspath, who had been in ill health three years, died Sun day, Aug. 21, in a local hospital. 
She resided at 1411 1/2 E. Adams St. A native of Union County, Ark., she had lived in Arizona ten 
years. She held memberships in both the New Salem and Ol Landmark Baptists churches.
Survivors include her son, Melvin Williams of Phoenix; a sister, Mrs. Adeline Modies of Arkansas, 
and three brothers, Jim Phillips of Phoenix, Albert Phillips, New Mexico, and Alfred Phillips of 
Arkansas.
