Maria E. Sanchez, 53, of Oracle, passed away July 13, 2002, in South Carolina. She was born Oct. 19, 1948, in Deming, NM and was a teacher’s aide for more than 10 years at Homer Davis Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Sanchez and her brother, Hector Sandoval. Survivors include her sons, Les (Melanie) Sharff, of Oracle and Joshua (Melissa) Sharff, of South Carolina; daughters, Connie (Tim) Stuart, also of South Carolina and Raquel Sanchez, of Phoenix; step-daughter, Isabel Sanchez; sister, Yolanda Dominguez, of Tucson; brothers, Eustacio Sandoval, also of Tucson and Adrian Sandoval, of Nevada. Services were held July 22, at the Adair Funeral Home in Tucson. Interment was in New Mexico, July 25, 2002. Published 7/30/02
