| Doris Belcher Smith Final rites for Doris Belcher Smith, 33, were conducted Tuesday morning at Ragsdale Chapel in the Valley with the Elder Berard Cayton officiating. Burial followed in Greenwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Smith, who resided at 1520 East Washington, came to Phoenix 14 years ago from Mobile, Alabama. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a nurses aid at Miller’s Rest Home. Survivors include two children, Annie Mae Thomas and Samuel Jr.; both of Phoenix, two brothers, Willie P. and Robert L. Belcher, both of New York; and three grandchildren of Phoenix. Arizona Sun August 14, 1958 |
