Published by Today's News Herald on September 5, 2025 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Edward Maier died in Lake Havasu City on Aug. 22, 2025. Ed was born in San Mateo, California to the late Oris and Charlotte Maier. He had two siblings, Judith Heiges (Bob) of Union City, Kentucky and predeceased by brother, William Richardson. Ed married Elaine White in Gilroy, California on Feb. 1, 1959 and they celebrated 66 years of marriage this year. Ed attended high school in Gilroy, California and served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957. He is survived by his wife Elaine Maier and son Willson Maier of Lake Havasu City and grandson Willson Maier of Gilroy California. No services are planned at this time.
