Mrs. Maude Holmes Passes Away At Local Hospital Mrs. Maude Holmes, 64. widow of William Holmes, died Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m., tomorrow at the Carroon Mortuary Chapel, with Rev. O. A. Smith officiating. Interment in Zack Odom Post American Legion Cemetery. She left no survivors residing in this area. Mrs. Holmes was born at Marfa, Texas in 1889. Her husband was a 25th Infantry soldier stationed at Nogales some years ago.
