Alexander “Alex” Stuart
March 7, 1943 – September 10, 2025

Alex Stuart, age 82, passed away peacefully at home in Lake Havasu City,
Arizona on September 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Vancouver, Canada, Alex proudly became a United States citizen
in 2003. He honorably served his adopted country as a United States
Marine and was a Vietnam War veteran.

In 1992, he married the love of his life, Zola, and together they shared
over three decades of marriage filled with adventure, dedication, and
deep companionship. A hardworking man, Alex was an owner-operator in the
transportation industry for many years.

He moved to Arizona in 2004 and worked at A&B Supply and AmeriGas until
his retirement in 2013.

In retirement, Alex embraced the outdoors and an active lifestyle. He
enjoyed paddling OC1 canoes, building canoe racks, and exploring the
desert on jeep trips. He was also a committed member of the Mojave
Desert Sheriff’s Search and Rescue team. He especially cherished the
companionship of his beloved dog, Buddy.

Alex was known for his warm spirit and had many friends who will miss
him dearly.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Zola; his niece Julie and her
husband Jon; his brother Jim and wife Connie; sister Joyce; stepdaughter
Kathy; stepson Steven; and grandchildren Ilea, Nikki, Breanne, and
Steve. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, service, and love.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
