Weber Rites To Be Held In Illinois
William Weber, 72, art advertising director 45 years for the Cudahy Co. in Chicago before retiring to Phoenix in 1962, died Tuesday in Good Samaritan Hospital.
Mr. Weber, 3401 E. Onyx, attended the Naval Academy at Annapolis and served as an ensign aboard the battleship New Hampshire in World War I. He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston.
He was born in Portland, Oregon.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette, a daughter, Mrs. Paul J. Nichols of Phoenix; a son, William P. of Colorado Springs; two sisters out of state; and five grandchildren. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. Services and burial will be Saturday in Wilmette, Illinois. Published in The Arizona Republic August 31, 1967.
