James Kelly Hager Dies
Funeral services for James Kelly Hager, 69, a farmer of the Avondale district, were held Friday 
at 10 a. m., in the Whitney Funeral Home chapel. Hager died Tuesday in a local hospital, 
following a short illness. A native of Virginia, Hager came to the Avondale community six years 
ago, and had been engaged in farming since that time.
Survivors are his wife, Annie M.; two sons, James, serving with the army, and Calvin Hager of
Glendale; and two daughters, Mrs. Blanche E. McElwaney, Frensno, Calif., and Miss Alma Lou 
Hager, Avondale.
The body was sent Friday to Visalia, Calif., where another funeral service was arranged.
