He will be laid to rest at a graveside service on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, 12 noon, at Desert Lawn Memorial. He was proceeded in death by Lon F. Banks, Mary Eva Banks, Peggy Armor, and Charlotte Figgins. He leaves behind his wife of 43 years Sharon Banks; his children, ReDonna (Cedar), Furr, Lonnie Banks, and Stepchildren, Steven Rainey (Claudia), Tammy Rainey, 8 grand children, and sister, Shirley Peters (Carl). Douglas presided in Yuma the majority of his life and worked for the county for 30 years before he retired. He was loved dearly and will be missed by many.
