WHALEN, William

Wm. Whalen, aged 65 years, and a rancher by occupation, died at his home in Arayaipa, 
Tuesday morning of last week at about 9 o’clock. The direct cause of his death was a cancer. 
He was buried Wednesday in the family plot near the ranch. The deceased was a native of 
Canada, coming to this territory in the ’70’s. For a number of years he was a trusted employee 
at the Sierra Bonita ranch and was well liked by all who knew him. He leaves a wife, five sons 
and two daughters to mourn him.
