BAIER, Lawrence Edward

Published in The Review & posted online on May 16 2024 - Alliance, Ohio - Lawrence (Larry) Edward Baier, age 87, passed away peacefully with his family and his beloved and loyal dog, Jake, by his side on Monday, April 29th at his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Larry was born in Alliance, Ohio. In 1955, he married his wife, Patricia (Patty) Ann Canonico. They moved to Lake Havasu in 1977 and retired there later in life. He leaves behind his wife Patty of 68 years, his brother-in-law (Henry Canonico), and sister-in-law (Linda Shank Canonico) from Alliance in addition to many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends from across the states. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lucille, his son (Gary Baier), and his brothers (Chuck Baier and Jerry Baier). Larry worked at General Motors in Ohio and as an Owner Operator truck driver alongside Patty for 25 years all over the country. They specialized in relocation and helping people move. Larry liked to cook and to bowl and liked football, baseball and basketball. Larry, along with Patty, rescued many dogs during their lives together and loved them dearly.
