Penny Peterson, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away on December 21, 2025, during complications from hip surgery. She was surrounded by care and love in her final moments. Penny will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle strength, and the quiet ways she showed up for the people she loved. She had a gift for making others feel welcome and valued, and her presence brought comfort, laughter, and steadiness to those around her. Penny’s kindness left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was a devoted wife to Michael Peterson and a loving mother to her sons, Brian and David, who were the pride and joy of her life. Penny cherished time spent with her family, especially at home in her backyard, where many meaningful conversations and memories were shared. It is fitting that this familiar and loved place will be where family and close friends gather to honor her life. A small, private funeral service will be held in Penny’s backyard in Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday December 28, 2025 ar 3PM, allowing loved ones to celebrate her life in an intimate setting filled with remembrance and reflection. Penny will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
