KOHUT, Beatrice

Mrs. Beatrice Bassist Kohut, 47, of 3642 E. Pima, died Sept. 26 in a local hospital. Mrs. Kohut had come here 12 years ago from New York City. She was a charter member of Hadassah, a former teacher at the Center and a member of the National Educational Education Assn. Survivors include her husband, David; two daughters, Mrs. Judith McGanghey of Russelville, Ind., and Frayne Bassist of Tucson; a brother, Alfred Jacobs of Silver Springs, Md.; a sister, Ruth Jacobs, of New York; her mother, Mrs. Pauline Jacobs of New York and two grandsons. Services were held in Reilly's Funeral Home. The Arizona Post October 3, 1958
