| Published by The Miner on Dec. 24, 2025 - Kingman, Arizona - Minnie (Munoz) Rodriguez, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, went home to the Lord on Thursday, Dec.18, 2025. Minnie was born on March 1, 1933, in Virden, New Mexico to Edwardo and Severiana Munoz. As a child her family moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she met the love of her life, her husband of 61 years, Carlos Rodriguez. Minnie and Carlos were married on March 24, 1962. In 1963 Carlos was offered a job which would bring them to Kingman. Minnie and Carlos made Kingman their home where they raised their family, were active members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and were well known within the community. Minnie worked as a housekeeper at various motels in Kingman, before working at Kingman Regional Medical Center. Although she was employed as a housekeeper, Minnie was often called to various departments within the hospital to lend a hand at being an unofficial translator, something she was always happy to help with. Minnie retired from KRMC in 1995. After her retirement she spent her time volunteering for the church, traveling to see family, and spending quality time with her grandchildren. Minnie was always willing to host a family get together at a moment's notice and could be counted on for her enchiladas, a family favorite. Minnie is survived by her children– Luis Rodriguez, Olivia (Manny) Silva, her grandchildren– Elizabeth (Josh) Frisby, Amanda Hartley, Lauren (Josh) Ott, Manny (Sarah) Silva, Ashley (Martin) Rodriguez, Xavier (Meredith) Rodriguez, Reece (Alicia) Silva, and 18 great grandchildren. Minnie is preceded in death by her parents, Edwardo and Severiana, her siblings, Cayetano, Leonardo, Trini, Ramon, Martin, Joe, Tony, Pete, and Sylvia. Her beloved husband, Carlos also preceded her in death and was waiting for 2 years for his mija to join him. The family takes immense comfort in knowing that they are finally reunited in the kingdom of the Lord. Services will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 301 E. Spring St. on Dec. 30. Visitation begins at 10 a.m., rosary at 10:30 a.m., with mass at 11 a.m. Interment to immediately follow at Mountain View Cemetery at 1301 Stockton Hill Road. See Also: Find A Grave |
