Anne Westeen Greasley, born May 27, 1964, passed away on Dec. 13, 2025,
in Chandler, Arizona after a lengthy illness, at the age of 61.
Anne graduated from Kingman High School in 1982 and from the University
of Arizona in 1986. Following college, she moved to Los Angeles, lived
with her sister Susan, and worked as an accountant for law firm MSK for
12 years. She met her future husband, Jim Greasley, through their mutual
love of ice hockey. Anne and Jim were married for 24 years. They moved
to Chandler in 2001.
Anne loved her role as homemaker and mother, and was dedicated to the
support of her daughter Stephanie's water polo involvement, frequently
traveling throughout the Southwest for tournaments. She enjoyed cooking,
particularly trying new recipes, reading, participating in book club
meetings, attending neighborhood block activities, watching Star Trek
movies, and caring for her dogs and cats. She was also an avid sports
fan, enjoying football, hockey and especially the University of Arizona
Wildcats basketball and football.
Anne is survived by her husband Jim, daughter Stephanie, mother Mim
Hoover, brother Bill Westeen, nephew Jonathon Novatt, stepbrothers Steve
and Brian Hoover, and stepsister Jody Ewing. She was predeceased by her
father, Dr. John Westeen, and sister, Susan Westeen Novatt. She is also
survived by many Dickerson and Westeen cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Arrangements for a memorial service will be announced by the family at a
later date.
