Published by Yuma Sun on Jan. 4, 2026 - Yuma, Arizona - Kenneth Reynolds of Yuma, age 80, died on December 12, 2025. He is now at peace in the loving arms of God. He always would say, "I 'm going all the way with God. " Kenneth was born March 9, 1945 in Shelbyville, Illinois and grew up in Yuma. He was a long-time member of First Church of the Nazarene in Yuma. He lived independently for many years but ultimately was under group home care that provided not only basic needs, but medical, spiritual and social needs. He was blessed with many caring, loving and supportive caretakers, friends and family. He is survived by his two nieces, Twila Meador (Michigan) and Michele Hedrick (Arizona) and many grand and great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Reynolds (2012); step- father, Lester Reynolds (1965); father, Ervil Reynolds (1945); sister, Lilaf Culbertson (2017) and niece, Starlene Poland (2025). Funeral Service to be held at Yuma First Church of the Nazarene, 1900 S. Avenue A, Yuma, 928-783-6810, on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 11:00 am. Potluck reception to follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Yuma First Church of the Nazarene and dropped off in a reception box at service or mailed directly.
