Russell T.G. Weeks of Congress died March 29 at Thunderbird Hospital in
Phoenix. He was 54.
Russell was born Sept. 2, 1947 in Carrollton, Ill. He moved to England
at age 9 where he went to school, college, and worked as a sign writer.
He married Margaret (Maggie), and they had three children. He then
joined the U.S. Army and was trained as an infantryman. He was a
graphics documentation specialist and an instructor, retiring in August
of 1994.
Seven years ago, he moved to the Rich Hill area of Congress, where he
lived with his wife of 32 years, Maggie.
Russell is survived by his mother Frieda M. Weeks of Somerset, England;
wife Maggie of Congress; daughter Michelle of Chandler; sons Lindsay of
Philadelphia, Pa., and Damian of Congress; sister Linda of Somerset,
England; daughter-in-law Lori and son-in-law Scott; numerous sisters-in-
law, nieces and nephews; seven grandchildren; and friends Thomas and
Shirley.
The Weeks family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers, cards and
care.
A special thank you to Irene, Joe, Paul, the Arrowhead Bar, James,
Jackie and all friends.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 4 at American Legion Post
No. 79 in Yarnell.
Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg handled all arrangements.
