Kyle Anthony Hurley was born in Cottonwood, Arizona on a rainy March
31,1987 and died in the early morning hours of Jan. 1, 2026. He had been
in the hospital twice since August for heart issues. The last time in
December for edema, a blood clot in his right ventricle and AFIB. He
passed peacefully sometime between 11:30 p.m. and 2 a.m.
Kyle graduated from Kingman High School in 2005, spending his last year
of high school at the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences in Tempe
and returning to walk with his high school class. He worked as an
electrician in Flagstaff, Arizona, and Kingman, Arizona for several
years. Proudly working on the Mohave County Library in Kingman and
Bullhead, and the new Mohave County Courthouse.
He leaves behind two daughters, Lillian Tepfer-Auld (13) who lives with
her grandparents and his beloved Summerlynn Hurley (9). Fiancé Jodi
Barker, parents Bruce & Jennifer Hurley, sister Kimberlee Perkins,
Grandmother Doris Lightwine. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and
extended family.
We miss his “hi mama” and “hi pops” when he came in the door, his hugs
and crazy sense of humor. He never left without expressing his love for
his family in word or in sign-language. Dad's cowboy is gone too soon.
