Kingman, Arizona -

Margot was born in Fulda, West Germany on April 19, 1940, to Phillip and
Anna Freund. Margot started working at a very young age doing various
jobs to help her family - from installing filaments in light bulbs to
working in a baby clothing factory. Begging for chewing gum and Hershey
chocolate bars from the American soldiers as a child. She grew up to
marry her own United States Army soldier- James E. Jett Jr.! They were
married and a year later moved to Arizona where James was born and
raised.

Settling in Kingman, Arizona for James' job was definitely a shock for
Margot! She learned to drive a manual VW Bug that James had shipped from
Germany, on Hualapai Mountain Road starting her long career of an
interesting driver! She became a U.S. Citizen in 1964, a proud moment
for her! Not one to sit around Margot worked at various establishments
in Kingman. At Mohave General Hospital, she was a nurse's aide. She
filled in when needed at Fetrow's Jewelry Store and finally at L.W.
Hardy Turquoise Company where she started as an interpreter for German
clients. She eventually moved up higher in the company and was Vice
President.

She moved to Apache Junction, Arizona in 1977 to run operations at the
Florence Junction plant. She retired after 20 years. But again, she
couldn't sit still! She moved to Cary, NC after James passed away and
enjoyed five years of southern hospitality! But Arizona was calling her
back! Fountain of the Sun was her final home where she loved her poker
playing friends! Receiving her trophy for Birdies 2025 Texas Hold 'Em
championship was truly a proud moment for her!

Margot - a one-of-a-kind truly special, fun and beautiful woman is pre-
deceased by her parents, her husband James, and her half-sister Teresa
Archuleta. She is survived by her daughters Deborah Farner (Glenn),
Tricia Slater (Dave) and son James W. Jett (Estela). Grandchildren
Austin Farner (Amanda), great granddaughter Peyton Farner, Cameron
Farner, Amanda Slater, Jack Slater and Hayden Slater. Sister-in-law and
brother-in-law Roberta and Gary Jordan and brother-in-law Jay Jett,
several nieces and nephews. Margot's family would like to thank her many
friends at Birdies Bar and Grill and her poker playing friends at
Fountain of the Sun!

Arrangements are being cared for by Mountain View Home & Cemetery.
