| Published by Yuma Sun on Jan. 25, 2026 - Yuma, Arizona - July 12, 1930 - January 20, 2026 Edward Leo Crosbie passed away peacefully at his home in Del Oro Estates. He was born July 12, 1930, in Malone, NY. Son of Gilbert and Mary Crosbie. He married Maria L. Michalik who pre-deceased him after over 60 years of marriage. Father to Klause (Shelley), John (deceased), Linda (Michael), and Susan (Steven, deceased).Edward was the last remaining of 7 siblings. Ed served in the U.S. Army in Germany, where he met his wife. As a teenager, he was a plane spotter during World War II. Long time employee of Conrail Railroad, retiring in 1991 after 40+ years as an Engineer. He was a member of the Elk Lodge (Lifetime 67yrs), American Legion and Amvets. Ed was well known for his gardening abilities and as a "Mr. Fix- it". He is survived by 7 grandchildren, Lisa, Aaron, Amanda, Brooke, Lindsey, Daniel, Jenna. 13 Great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be at the Elks Lodge #476 on January 30, 2026 at 11:00 am for friends and family. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity.
