| JAMES T. WILKEY DIES (Wednesday’s International) James T. Wilkey, about 54 years of ago, the oldest of the Wilkey boys, died at his mine 80 miles from Hermosillo either Monday night or early yesterday morning, according to a message received yesterday by bis brother Undersheriff Dave Wilkey. The message came from another of the Wilkey boys —Frank —banker at Hermosillo. Burial will take place near the Wilkey mine in Sonora. Mr. Wilkey is survived by two sons in San Francisco, his mother, Mrs. J. N. Wilkey of Nogales, and four brothers— Dave and B. Taylor of Nogales, Frank of Hermosillo, and Willis of El Paso. Mr Wilkey was employed by the Southern Pacific de Mexico railroad prior to engaging in mining. Years ago he relieved Wirt G. Bjwman as agent at Torres, Sonora, when Bowman quit the railroad. He was a man who made a host of friends all of whom will deeply regret to learn of his death. The Border Vidette August 13, 1932 |
