DEATH OF GILA BEND YOUNG MAN
C. L. Stewart, of Gila Bend, colored, aged 23, died in a Phoenix hospital Tuesday, Jan. 9th, after 
an illness of one week. Stewart was a shoe shiner in Gila Bend. He had no near relatives. Both 
his parents have been dead for some time. The body is in charge of Buckeye Funeral Home and 
will be taken to Gila Bend Friday for burial.
