| Published by The Miner on Feb. 19, 2026 - Kingman, Arizona - William "Dean" Dean Taylor passed away peacefully on Feb. 5, 2026, in Kingman, Arizona, at the age of 66. Born on Jan.1, 1960, in Amarillo, Texas, Dean lived a life marked by dedication, resilience, and love. Dean was the beloved husband of Mary Martinez-Taylor. Their union brought profound joy and purpose to his later years. Together, they built not only a life but also a business—forming their own company in Kingman in 2006. Their entrepreneurial journey took them from Arizona to Phoenix and Ventura, California, before returning to Kingman where they retired from the business at the beginning of 2025. A man known for his tireless work ethic, Dean often held both full-time and part-time jobs simultaneously. He believed deeply in the value of hard work and camaraderie. To Dean, coworkers were more than colleagues— they were friends. His circle of friendship was wide and enduring. Dean found great fulfillment in family life. He helped raise Mary’s son, Joseph Garcia of Kingman, Arizona, with unwavering devotion. He was also a proud father to daughter Cathy Keller (Kyle) and son Michael Hurt (Rachel), both of Amarillo, Texas. His legacy continues through his five cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Connie Pack (Callen) of Amarillo, Texas. Dean was preceded in death by his parents, William "Al" Taylor and Diana Taylor. Dean’s faith was a source of strength throughout his life. In his final days, he found peace through his belief in Jesus Christ. His family takes comfort in knowing that he has been called home and is now free from suffering. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who supported Mary during Dean’s final chapter—those whose kindness helped keep him safe and comforted. It was Mary’s steadfast love that gave him the strength to become the devoted husband, father, and provider he was. Dean will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will live forever in our hearts. May his memory bring comfort and peace to those who mourn his passing. |
