| Published by Today's News-Herald on Feb. 27, 2026 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Lucille "Lu Lu" Lemieux, age 86, passed away on January 10, 2026, in Lake Havasu, Arizona. Lucille was born on January 2, 1940, in South Bend, Indiana, St. Joseph County, to John and Mary Ann (Makowski) Leda. She was a proud graduate of South Bend Central High School, Class of 1957, and remained deeply connected to her faith as a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in South Bend. Lu Lu spent much of her career in hospitality and was a business owner in Chula Vista, California, where she operated the Red Coach. She was known for her strong work ethic, warm personality, and dedication to those she served. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Lemieux; nephews John Stenberg, Mike Leda, and Jim Leda; niece Lisa Tice; and stepchildren Linda and Cindy. She was preceded in death by her siblings Tony, Daniel, Chester, Ernest, Paul, Dorothy, Theresa, Joan, and Nancy. Private services will be held with family. |
