Jean M. Emanuel passed away peacefully at home in Goodyear Arizona with
family on February 21st, 2026. She was born in the daughter of Eugene
and Providence Vacca in Ashtabula Ohio on January 27th, 1935. She lived
in Ashtabula until she married her soulmate, Basil C. Emanuel on
November 25th, 1954. They were blessed with almost 64 years together.
They lived in Buena Park, California for 42 years before retiring to
Lake Havasu City. Jean worked for Humana Corp as the director of Human
Resources for 30 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, baking
and playing card games.
Jean is preceded in death by Basil Charles Emanuel (husband), Eugene and
Providence Vacca (parents) Irene Carlson (sister) and Johnny Vacca
(brother). She is survived by Tony Charles Emanuel (son) Julie Ann
Wrigley (daughter) Louise Marie Santiago (sister) and Eugene Michael
Vacca (brother).
Services were entrusted to the care of Thompson Funeral Home in Goodyear
Arizona.
