| Ranch Laborer Dies From Heart Attack Jose De La Paz Zamora, employee of the Enterprise Ranch near Gillespie Dam, dropped dead from a heart attack on November 23. He had been cutting wood with two other men when he complained of not feeling well. His two companions helped him to the shade of a tree, but he died within a few minutes. John Stanley, ex-officio coroner was called, but decided that an inquest was not necessary. Funeral Services were held at the Buckeye Funeral Home at 3:00 P.M. Monday with burial in Louis B. Hazelton Cemetery. Mr. Zamora is survived by a half brother, Henry Rivera of Palo Verde, and one son, Louis Zamora of El Lunas, New Mexico. Buckeye Valley News and Buckeye Review December 2, 1943 |
