MaryAnn (Frank) Corcoran

MaryAnn Corcoran, 94, passed away, peacefully in her sleep at Rustic
Ranch Senior Living Retirement Community on Dec. 17, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, George H. and
Catherine E. Frank; her cherished sister, Nancy Joan Frank; and her
precious daughter, Margaret Mary Corcoran.

MaryAnn was born in Chicago, Ill., on March 23, 1931, moved to South
Bend, Ind., at the age of 13. She graduated from St. Joseph Hospital
Nursing School in 1951.

In 1952, she married John O. Corcoran and moved to Phoenix in 1959.
MaryAnn and John welcomed six children: Mary Corcoran, Colleen Griego
(Tony), John Corcoran (Deborah), Nancy Novak, Dan Corcoran (Tamme Call)
and Bill Corcoran (Mindy).

She was a school nurse at St. Simon and Jude Elementary School for three
years. Then, she was a school nurse, aka Nursie, at Road Runner
Elementary School for the next 17 years.

After she retired, she created and directed a District Hearing and
Vision Team that travelled to all schools and tested thousands of
children in the Washington Elementary Shool District.

In 1997, MaryAnn and John built their dream home in Wickenburg and
enjoyed many years living and volunteering in their new hometown.
MaryAnn volunteered at the Wickenburg Community Hospital for several
years.

MaryAnn is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, John O.; her six
children; nine grandchildren, Frank Trosset, Boe Trosset, Nancy Lynn
Griego, Matt Corcoran, Ryan Corcoran, Phillip Corcoran, Eileen Corcoran,
Morgan Corcoran and Brady Corcoran; and seven great-grandchildren,
Ashley Gillis, Aislan Corcoran, Abby Corcoran, Adelyn Corcoran, Olivia
Corcoran, Jocelyn Dean and Nala Corcoran whom she dearly loved and
cherished.

Services will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in
Wickenburg, (244 N. Tegner St.) on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, at 10 a.m.

There will be a luncheon immediately following the service. In lieu of
flowers, please consider sending a donation to Hospice of the Valley.
