| Published by The Miner on Mar. 25, 2026 - Kingman, Arizona - Georgina "Gina" Atkinson, 75, of Kingman returned to her Heavenly Father, March 14, 2026, at The Lingenfelter Center. Gina was born Dec. 21,1950 in Brawley, California. To Gilbert and Dolores Quihuiz. She graduated from Santa Ana Valley High in 1969. After H.S., she became a beautician, then entered the medical profession, doing front office work. She then shifted gears and worked in the Justice Court system for five years before returning and retiring from the medical profession. She married Earl Atkinson May 21, 1982, and is survived by her husband of 45 years, her children, Rachel (Clay) Bishop of Lake Havasu, Hunter (Liz) Olmstead of Oregon, her sister Lani Whitehead of Riverside, CA., a brother Gilbert (Nahn) Quihuiz of Irvine, CA. Her five grandchildren; Davis and Aiden Bishop; Makenzi, Chase and Jenna Olmstead. She is preceded in death by her Parents, brother-in-law and an uncle. Gina was known for her outgoing personality and contagious smile. She treasured her time with her extended family and Friends. She loved traveling, dancing, watching sports, country music and singing until she couldn't. In lieu of flowers, donate to the Alzheimer's Association. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on April 11, 2026, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, located at 3180 Rutherford Dr. Kingman, Arizona. |
