Susanne “Susie” Elizabeth (Christman) Patch, 85, passed away peacefully
on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in Kingman Arizona, with her family and
friends around her.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Melven (Nick) Patch,
Kingman, Arizona; her daughters Elizabeth (Kelly) Wright, and Deborah
Russell, her granddaughter Rebekah (Keenan Johansen) and grandson
Nathen, two great-granddaughters Willow and Juniper, all of Denver,
Colorado, along with international exchange students Ana Beatriz
Guterres (Bastos) (Brazil), Tuula Aaltola (Finland), Carl Geirr Jakobsen
(Norway). She is also survived by her younger sisters Nancy Robbins,
Cindy (Floyd) Morland, sisters-in-law Mary (Randy) Blecha and Karen
(Jeff) Sartain and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Albert Christman, Jr.,
mother, Frances Jacqueline Causely, and her older brother Richard.

She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, having worked with the youth as a teacher, a family history
consultant and loved ministering to the sisters in the Relief Society
organization. She was also a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority for
61 years and a member of Club Las Amigas for 20 years, both groups
associated with service and education.

Susie found joy in all aspects of life, especially related to her
family. She had many interests and hobbies associated with nature,
traveling, and people. She helped operate the Daze Mayflower moving
company in Winslow and Lake Havasu City, Arizona with her husband/family
for 15 years, taught/coached gymnastics for 20 years, worked for the Cle
Elum-Rosyln Washington school district as a para professional in special
education for 24 years, was the camp cook at the Flying Horseshoe Ranch
in Teanaway Valley, Cle Elum WA for 8 years, and worked in the Grand
Canyon West Arizona gift shop on the Hualapai Reservation. Once retired,
she volunteered at the Mohave Museum of History and Arts in Kingman,
where she enjoyed meeting people from around the world.

Susie was loved by many. Her positive outlook, generous spirit, and kind
heart left an impression wherever she went. She never met a stranger who
didn't quickly become a friend; she always went out of her way to help
anyone in need, and her smile and kindness will forever be remembered.
One of her favorite scriptures is “And now abideth faith, hope, charity,
these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” (1 Corinthians
13:13)

An open-house style Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, May 2,
2026, at 11 a.m. in the cultural hall of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints at 610 Eastern Street, Kingman, Arizona, 86401. In
lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Susie’s honor to a local food
bank in your community.
