| The Arizona Republic 27 March 1986 Tempe- Elizabeth "Bessie" Elkins, 83, a homemaker, died March 24, 1986, at Desert SunQuest Care Center. Mrs. Elkins, of Tempe, was a native of Arizona, born in Pima. She was a member of the Tempe First Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the church Relief Society. Survivors include a daughter, Henreitta Nessa; sons, Viron A. Jr., Hart W. and Ben S.; 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great- grandchildren. Friends may call at 9 a.m. Friday with services at 10 a.m., at Carr Memorial Chapel, 1445 W. Southern. |
