| The Arizona Republic 17 March 1986 Joseph W. Seymour, 78, a retired switchboard yard master for the Santa Fe Railroad, died March 24, 1986, at Veteran's Administration Medical Center. Mr. Seymour, of Phoenix, was born in Anson, Texas, and moved to Arizona 41 years ago. He had been a Sergeant in the Army military police. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, the Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Edith W.; sons, Stewart L. and Larry J.; stepsons, Gary F. Bruce; three sisters, nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at A. L. Moore & Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at his church, 2828 E. Tempe. |
