| The Arizona Republic 27 March 1986 APACHE JUNCTION- Gilbert A. Smith, 62, a retired letter carrier in East Moline, Ill., died March 25, 1986, at Mesa Lutheran Hospital. Mr. Smith, of Apache Junction, was born in Unionville, Mo., and moved to Arizona three years ago. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, the American Legion, Rural Letter Carrier Union and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Survivors include his wife, Betty; daughter, Connie Barnett; son, James; mother, Ella Phillips; a sister; two brothers; two half sisters; and four grandchildren. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday, with services at 1 p.m., at Mountain View Mortuary, 7900 E. Apache Trail. |
