Gordon C. Schmid

Gordon C. Schmid, age 89, passed away peacefully in
the early hours of Sunday, February 22, 2026. He was
born on January 14, 1937.

Gordon was a respected member of his community
and a dedicated professional whose career reflected his
strong work ethic and commitment to service. For over
20 years, he owned and operated Bullhead Bike Center,
where he built a reputation for integrity and formed
lasting relationships with customers and friends alike.
He later relocated with his wife, Judy, to Prescott
Valley, where he continued his career in the automotive
industry. Gordon served as a Service Manager at Galpin Ford in Prescott
and later in Dewey. In his later years, he embraced a role as a driver,
transporting RVs and vehicles to various destinations and dealerships, a
position that allowed him to travel and enjoy the open road.

Gordon and Judy also shared a love for rural life, spending time on
their two-acre property where they cared for a variety of animals,
including their goat, Charley, as well as mini donkeys and horses.
Eventually, they made their home in Kingman to be closer to family.

Gordon was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-
grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy; his children,
Janeen Garney and husband Gary, Vance; and numerous grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived
by Judy's children, Larry Phillips and Jerry Phillips and his wife
Fallon Phillips, whom he loved as his own and who affectionately called
him Dad.

Gordon will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong
character, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him. His
memory will be cherished by all whose lives he touched.

His celebration of life will be held April 25th at Dambar Steakhouse in
the Banquet Room, 1960 E Andy Devine Ave, Kingman, Arizona, from 11:30
a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
