| Published by Today's News-Herald on Apr. 11, 2026 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Roger Calvert, Age 87, passed away peacefully at home on March 28, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Roger was born on November 11, 1938, in Long Beach California. He lived a full and adventurous life, marked by his love of the outdoors and his dedication to service. Roger proudly served his country in the United States Navy before building a career as an electrician. He later found his true calling in public service, serving his community as Deputy Sheriff. Roger had a passion for life and adventure. He enjoyed racing motorcycles, sailing, cycling, and kayaking activities that reflected both his energy and his love for the outdoors. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sue Calvert; his sons, Scott and Eric; and his cherished grandchildren, Rachel and Brian. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of Life will be held on April 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Lietz- Fraze Funeral Home, 21 Riviera Blvd, Lake Havasu City AZ. Casual Attire Please. |
