Felice Angelita "Angie" Cerda, 61, passed away peacefully at her home on
Sunday, February 22, 2026. She was born on September 25, 1964, in
Parker, Arizona, to Jay D. and Francisca Ray. She graduated from Parker
High School in 1982.
Angie lived life with laughter, warmth, and a spirit that drew people to
her wherever she went. She loved traveling in the RV with her late
husband Nick, exploring new places, and making memories along the way.
Some of her happiest Kansas City moments were spent surrounded by
friends at the local Moose Lodge, sharing stories, laughter, and good
times. She built lasting friendships everywhere she traveled, from
Kansas to her hometown of Parker, and Mexico. She was also a proud and
loyal fan of the Los Angeles (formerly San Diego) Chargers and rarely
missed cheering on her team. Anyone who knew Angie was quite aware of
her never-ending love for dogs.
Family meant everything to Angie. She was preceded in death by her
beloved husband, Nicolas Cerda; her infant daughter, Selena Nicole; and
her parents, Jay D. and Francisca Ray, whom she loved deeply.
She leaves behind her brother, Joe Ray (Chris Ray); her nephews, Max Ray
(Lauren) and Nicolas Ray; her stepchildren, Anthony Cerda (Diana),
Jeremy Cerda (Aleksandra), and Dustin Cerda (Gina); seven step
grandchildren; and countless friends who became family over the years.
Angie's kindness, humor, and generous heart will be remembered by all
who knew and loved her.
A church service for Angie will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at
1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1101 Joshua Avenue, Parker,
Arizona.
The service will be followed by interment at the Parker Cemetery, where
Angie will be laid to rest beside her parents, in accordance with her
wishes.
