JOHNSON, Gerald John

Published by Today's News-Herald on Apr. 25, 2026 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Gerald (Jerry) John Johnson, age 84 of Lake Havasu City, AZ, passed away on April 15, 2026. Born in Kenosha, WI, on Feb. 11, 1942 to Trygve & Bernice Johnson. He was proud of his strong work ethics & passed that on to his family. Jerry was known for his humor & kindness & enjoyed spending his time sitting outside & spending hours in his garage. He was also an Army veteran & a proud member of the local gun club and was employed by Anaconda American Brass in 1962 then transferred in Fullerton California 1981. He is survived by his wife Janice (Hoffman) Johnson, daughter Jodi (Johnson) Sanchez & son-in-law Donny Sanchez & 2 grandchildren Jeff 24 & Kylee 22 & nephew Chris Karps. Jerry & Janice were jr. high sweethearts & just celebrated 63 yrs together. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Linda Karps & son Jeff Johnson. A celebration of life will be at a later date.
