Robert (Bob) Pardo, 90, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Julia Pardo, their two daughters, Bernadette and Roberta, and three grandchildren, Emerald, Daniel, and Jeremy and two siblings, Lydia and Salvador.
Robert owned a successful appliance repair business where he met many people in Flagstaff and the surrounding towns as he chatted with them while he repaired their appliances. At age 70, he retired and sold the business.
Robert was born in California and moved to Flagstaff shortly after his discharge from the U.S. Navy. He was devoted to his Catholic faith and found much inspiration from going to Mass each Sunday. He was involved in his daughters' lives, teaching them "imperfect" Spanish and attending their sports activities. He enjoyed fishing, walking in the woods, and gathering firewood. For all who knew him, you would often hear him say "muy suave."
A Rosary and Mass will be held at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 am on April 17, 2026. His cremains will be interred at Calvary Cemetery following the Mass. A luncheon will follow at the church hall.
