ELROD, Helen Geniese

Published by Mohave Daily News Online on Apr. 29, 2026 - Bullhead City, Arizona - Helen Geniese Elrod, age 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. She was born on October 24, 1939 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Helen married Bob Elrod on August 4, 1957. She loved dancing in the 50s and liked to collect music boxes and shopping for just about everything. Helen loved to cook and bake for her family, with her specialty of angel food cake and snickerdoodles. Helen was a member of Kiwanis, a community service organization, for over 25 years. She loved her family and her precious poodle. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; and daughter, Peggy Kelso. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Wilcox and her husband, Zack; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026 at Desert Lawn Mortuary, 9250 S. Ranchero Lane, Mohave Valley, Arizona .
