Phoenician Dies In Detroit
The body of Jeff Monroe, a long time resident here, was returned to Phoenix this week for funeral and burial. Services were held Wednesday at St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. L. J. Dunbar officiating. Mr. Monroe died in Detroit Mich., while visiting his sister there. He is survived by his wife Mamie; a stepdaughter, Effie Monroe, Texas; five sisters, four in Texas, and one in Detroit; two brothers, and other relatives residing here. Interment in Double Butte cemetery. Webber's Eastlake Mortuary completed arrangements.
