Richard Alan Narvesen, born July 22, 1965, in Japan, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on April 26, 2026. Rick was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend whose strength, wisdom and unwavering love left a lasting mark on all who knew him.
Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Heather Narvesen, the love of his life for 36 years; his son, Tyler Narvesen; his daughters, Jodi Narvesen and Hunter Narvesen; his cherished grandchildren, Owen Stigall, Charli Narvesen, Gracie Jo Morgan and Tate Morgan; his mother, Lorraine Narvesen; and his brother, Ron Narvesen. He was preceded in death by his father, John Narvesen.
Rick proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Coral Sea. He carried that same sense of dedication and loyalty throughout his life, always standing strong for those he loved.
He was known as the giver of the best advice to his children, always knowing the right words to offer guidance, comfort or encouragement. Rick lived life on his own terms with independence, strength and authenticity.
He loved nature and treasured adventures with his family, creating memories that will be carried forever. He was the best hunting buddy, happiest outdoors and sharing those moments with the people he loved most.
Above all, Rick was a man who always supported his family through every stage of life, through both the good times and the hard times. His love was steady, his presence comforting and his devotion unmatched.
Rick will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
