Ethel Mae Maurer, 57, of Wittmann, a homemaker, died July 17, 1999. She was born in Berwick, Pa. 
Survivors include her sons, Calvin, Carl, Daniel, Douglas and Charles; and 14 grandchildren.

Body found in Wittmann
Maricopa County Sheriff's Deputies and posse members found a woman's body last week on Saturday, July 17 in Wittmann Wash, some 125 yards from U.S, 60 (Grand Avenue) in Wittmann.
The woman was identified  as Ethel Maurer, 56, a longtime Wittmann resident. Maurer had reportedly been missing about two weeks before her body was found, although according to Det. J. Oliver of the MCSO she had been seen a week after she was reported missing.
According to autopsy reports there was no indication of foul play. Authorities said a toxicology report is still being studied.
