Mary Lou Knecht Edgmon, age 88, passed away
peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, after a courageous
journey with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on April
25, 1937 to parents Albert and Minnie Knecht.
She was raised in a loving, hardworking family. Mary
married Robert Ray "Bob" Edgmon in 1956, and together
they built a life rooted in dedication, resilience, and care for
others. They raised three children-Carrie Ann, Connie
Diane, and Mark Robert-and moved from California to
Bullhead City, Arizona, in 1968. Mary worked alongside
Bob at Claypool's Market before becoming a successful
entrepreneur, opening Fashion Crossroads and Plaza
Men's Shop, where her eye for style and commitment to her customers made her a respected
businesswoman. She also enjoyed traveling to Europe, Australia, and New Zealand,
embracing new experiences later in life.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and her daughter, Carrie Ann.
She faced Alzheimer's disease with quiet strength, spending her final years at the
Lingenfelter Center for Alzheimer's Care in Kingman, Arizona.
