Nacida el 30 de octubre de 2001 en Hermosillo, Sonora, México, Michell fue un faro de resiliencia y fortaleza. A pesar de los desafíos de salud que enfrentó a lo largo de su vida, siempre se preocupó más por sus seres queridos que por ella misma, encarnando el verdadero espíritu del desinterés. Su sonrisa radiante y su personalidad vibrante brindaron alegría a todos quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Michell fue una hermana, hija y amiga amorosa que vivió su vida al máximo. Encontraba alegría en los placeres sencillos de la vida: jugar videojuegos con sus hermanos, cocinar deliciosas comidas y pasar tiempo con sus amigos. Fue una trabajadora dedicada, valorando su puesto en el área de ventas en Lowe’s. Su amor por la vida era contagioso y su actitud positiva verdaderamente inspiradora. Como católica devota, Michell vivió guiada por el versículo: “Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece” (Filipenses 4:13), el cual resume bellamente su naturaleza resiliente. Michell deja atrás a su amorosa familia: su madre Karla Meraz, su padre Cesar Cornejo y sus hermanos Cesar y Jonathan Cornejo. Ella fue su bebé milagro, su todo, su bendición. El legado de amor, valentía y resiliencia de Michell permanecerá por siempre grabado en los corazones de quienes la amaron. El Rosario se llevará a cabo en la Escuela Católica Nuestra Señora del Lago el jueves 29 de enero de 2026 a las 10:00 a.m. (MST), seguido de la Misa a las 10:30 a.m. (MST). Su lugar de descanso final será en Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens a las 12:00 p.m. (MST). La vida de Michell fue un testimonio del poder de la positividad, el amor y la resiliencia. Born on October 30, 2001, in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, Michell was a beacon of resilience and strength. Despite the health challenges she faced throughout her life, she always cared more about her loved ones than herself, embodying the true spirit of selflessness. Her radiant smile and vibrant personality brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Michell was a sister, daughter, and loving friend who lived her life to the fullest. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life: playing video games with her siblings, cooking delicious meals, and spending time with her friends. She was a dedicated worker, valuing her position in sales at Lowe's. Her love of life was contagious and her positive attitude truly inspiring. As a devout Catholic, Michell lived guided by the verse, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13), which beautifully sums up her resilient nature. Michell leaves behind her loving family: her mother Karla Meraz, her father Cesar Cornejo, and her brothers Cesar and Jonathan Cornejo. She was his miracle baby, his everything, his blessing. Michell's legacy of love, courage and resilience will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who loved her. The Rosary will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. (MST), followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. (MST).
