Published by Today's News Herald on Jun. 3, 2026 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Bernice June Hallford June 6, 1929-March 28, 2026 Bernice June Halford 96, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away peacefully at her home on March 28, 2026. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to Samual and Ethel Knight. She had two younger sisters Betty and Patty. Bernice was a proud woman who loved life so much. She was widowed three times and still managed to find kindness and love in her life. She always faced life with a smile. Bernice was a good mother to two sons Donald and Bruce who passed away long ago. She had three grandchildren. She was a very thoughtful and loving grandmother. Bernice was Hard working, always worked very hard, whether it was for the government and military or some of her projects she had at home. She loved to sew, ceramics and had her own embroidery business. Her real love was spending time with her friends performing on stage doing theater skits or dancing with the dixie bells. She adored her friends, while traveling and lunching with the western welcome and the red hat ladies and helping with the non-profit organizations and the yacht club. There will be a celebration of life on June 13, 2026 at the Lietz-Fraze Funeral home at 21 Riviera Blvd, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86406. All will be welcome for some remembrance. She will be missed and loved forever.
