Published by Today's News-Herald on June 6, 2026 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Patricia “Patty” Merrill was born on March 26, 1952, in Tucson, Arizona and passed away in her home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on April 25, 2026. Patty was a United States Veteran, serving in the Army as a military nurse and went on to practice nursing after her honorable discharge from the military. Patty took pride in her business “Patty’s Housekeeping Etc, Etc… Her integrity and strong work ethic brought success and dedication to all that she did. She adored and loved her clients like family. Her kindness shined through to everyone she encountered. Patty devoted herself to her church, 7th Day Adventist, and was adored by so many friends and congregation members. Her worship, friendships in Christ, and faith meant the world to her. Patty can be described as a proud veteran, fiercely protective of her privacy, and an even more generous person. She was always ready to help others without needing recognition, her witty spirit and banter kept her family and friends on their toes. Often on her topics of conversation, she loved discussing God and her love of Jesus, politics, UFO’s, and enjoyed singing and dancing with friends. She is survived by her sister, Judee May, and her family, of San Diego, CA. Memorial Services will be held at Patty’s church “Lake Havasu 7th Day Adventist Church” on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be made to Lake Havasu Marine Corps League Auxiliary.
