Published by Today's News-Herald on June 13, 2026 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Betty Irene Webster passed away on May 28, 2026 peacefully in her home with her eldest son and sister by her side. Betty was born in upstate New York to William and Julia Combs. She had one sister, Helen Gley. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henery Webster and special friend Andrew Anderson. Betty attended Warrensburg Central School in New York. In 1956 she married her high school sweetheart, Henry Webster. They had 3 sons, William, James, and Robert. The family resided in Gloversville, New York until 1974 when Henry’s health led them to a year-round warmer climate. When they arrived in Lake Havasu City, Arizona Betty, Henry and sons opened Webster Family Restaurant on McCulloch Blvd. In 1977 they sold the restaurant and opened Hava Medical Supply. In 1991 they sold the medical supply business and Henry retired. At that time Betty and her sister opened Career Styles Uniform Shop. In 2004 Betty became a breast cancer survivor. Then sold the uniform shop in 2005 and both sisters retired. Betty enjoyed her retirement. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Betty will be remembered for her sense of humor and quick wit. Betty succumbed to Hodgkins Lymphoma after 6 years of unsuccessful treatment Betty services are schedule for June 16, 2026 at 2pm at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
