Published by Today's News-Herald on June 17, 2026 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Barbara (Bobbi) Thuneman, age 95, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026 at home. She was the beloved wife of John (Jack) Thuneman for an extraordinary 75 ½ years ~ a partnership marked by deep loyalty, shared laughter, and a lifetime of memories built side by side. Bobbi and Jack began their married life in Lakewood, California, before moving to their favorite place – the Colorado River -in 1971. An avid and passionate reader, Bobbi found joy in mystery and crime series, always eager to dive into a new story. Her lifelong love for reading not only provided her with countless hours of enjoyment, but also kept her mind sharp, curious and incredibly bright throughout her years. But most of all, her faith guided her throughout her life, and she found comfort in it until the very end. Bobbi leaves behind her devoted husband Jack of 75 ½ years, her two children, son John (Judy) Thuneman, and daughter Lynne (Tony) Facciuto.
