The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, June 25, 2009 John Hood Waskom Jr., 85, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., born May 9, 1924, in Long Beach, Calif., passed away June 24, 2009, at the Bob Stump VA Medical Center, Hospice Unit, Prescott, Ariz. A private cremation will take place at the Bradshaw Crematory with inurnment at the Prescott National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in John's name to Bob Stump VA Medical Center, Hospice Patient Unit, 500 N. Highway 89, Prescott, AZ 86313. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements.
