J.D. Porter, 86, born July 17, 1922, in Grover, Colo., passed away June 17, 2009, in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009, at the family residence in Prescott Valley. Inurnment will take place at Prescott National Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Granite Mountain Hospice in Prescott, Ariz.
