BRASHER, Kathrine

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, June 21, 2009 Katherine Brasher passed on to our Father June 8, 2009. She was born in Beowawe, Nev. in 1914, grew up in Independence, Calif. and attended college in Los Angeles where she met Russell. They were wed in Yuma, Ariz. in 1935 and, except for less than three years during WWII when Russell was deployed in the Navy at sea, they were inseparable. They recently celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary at their home in Prescott, Ariz. Katherine is survived by her husband Russell; son Dan and his wife Trisha; two grand sons and one grand daughter and their families; two step granddaughters; and two great granddaughters; along with other close family members in the U.S. and England.
